About our Caravan Park
Gilestone has a total of 64 pitches, which includes 22 super-pitches (hard standing, T.V aerial cable connection, electric hook-up, water and drainage), 30 standard pitches (grass pitch, electric hook-up and water), and 12 seasonal pitches where a caravan will remain on the same pitch for the full touring season.
For 2007, the season ran from March 1st through to November 1st, although planning will shortly be applied to extend the season, from March 1st 2008 through to January 10th 2009.
As well as putting in planning for extending the season, we are also hoping to extend the
number of pitches and have a new shower and toilet block completed for March 2008. This new development of extending our facilities over the Christmas and New Year period is in response to our customers wishes.
